You won't find a more self-driven birder on the web. Whether new knowledge, new places or new birds, I'm out to get it. I love the thrill of the chase, stretching myself in the field and, of course, the staple diet of new birds in great places. My birding, like this website, is a work in progress but slowly, things are starting to take off. The relevant sections are well sign-posted, but perhaps first read Birding Matters, as I feel it's easy just to pass by how personal a thing birding can be, what it means, and why it’s so special to so many.
